| Let one 8-ounce cream cheese and 3 sticks of margarine sit until the ingredients reach room temperature. Then mix together well. * Add 3 cups sugar and mix until light and fluffy; * Add 6 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each; * Add 3 cups plain flour and a pinch of salt. Beat mixture for 3 minutes; * Add 2 teaspoons vanilla or 2 teaspoons lemon extract. Beat mixture for 2 more minutes; * Pour into greased and floured tube pan, and place in cool over; * Turn oven to 300-325 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Enjoy. |
| Ice Cream Sticky Buns |
| Ingredients: Cooking spray 1/4 cup chopped nuts 1 pkg. large-size Pillsbury biscuits Ground Cinnamon to taste Sugar to taste 1/2 stick butter 2/3 cup brown sugar 1 cup ice cream Spray a bundt pan with the cooking spray. Chop nuts and sprinkle in the bottom of the pan. Using shears, cut the large-size biscuits into quarters and toss with the cinnamon and sugar. Place the biscuit quarters in the pan. In a 2 Qt glass bowl, melt the butter, 1 cup ice cream, and 2/3 cup brown sugar in the microwave. Stir and pour over the biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. |
